Doug Honig has long been a free-lance journalist, historian, and community activist in Seattle.

John Treat is Emeritus Professor of East Asian Languages at Yale, and the author of three novels set in the Pacific Northwest: The Rise and Fall of the Yellow House (2015), First Consonants (2022), and The Seventh City of Refuge (2026).

Lillian Dabney has been involved in every aspect of the book, from fierce reader, to book binder and is an advocate of all things literary.

Manuela is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington where she teaches engineering students how to think about culture in design.

Harpreet is a public policy professional with experience across nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors. She enjoys reading, spicy food, and spending time with her dog, Louie.

Xingchun Zheng brings extensive experience in strategy and investment from her tenure at firms like Bain Capital, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and LVMH.

Tess comes to Folio with 10 years of experience in digital marketing, events and development both in the US and Saudi Arabia.

Rucker’s background spans entrepreneurship, facilitative meditation, and over 15 years in environmental and climate planning.

Stephanie Reents is a narrative writer and teacher who recently moved to Seattle from the East Coast

Hannah is a Development and Communications Associate at Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum.

A Seattle native, Marissa’s interests include a passion for local history, and sharing and fostering community. Her one literary claim to fame was once reading all seven volumes of Proust’s In Search of Lost Time.

Robin worked in the tech industry for about 35 years.
