Can I pay by check for my membership?​​

Is my membership tax-deductible?

Folio is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, members support in the form of annual fees accounts for 20% of our annual operating funds. Membership fees up to $150 are not tax-deductible, owing to the services members will receive. Any amount above $150 is tax-deductible. 

Does Folio offer sliding scale membership options?

Yes! We are committed to keeping Folio open and accessible to all. Set up your Folio membership here using our suggested amount, or set your own amount. Membership is annual and will not renew automatically.

Does Folio offer a Market Rate for student, individuals and families?

Yes, Folio offer a 10% market discount, please contact Tess Selim for the market discount code.

 

I signed up as a Patron. How do I access reciprocal privileges?

Contact Caroline Cumming to request access or other reciprocal privileges at other athenaeums.

Does my membership renew automatically?

Yes, your membership will renew automatically annually or monthly based on your billing preferences, you will receive an automated reminder email 15 days before your due date.

How can I upgrade or cancel my membership?

Members can update their payment details, upgrade their membership level, cancel or pause a membership through

the customer portal. Please remember to use the same email used to set up your membership.

Gift memberships will not renew automatically.
