Led by Folio librarian Lillian Dabney, in-depth novel studies and author studies offer a slow and deep dive into a work of literature or a complete reading of an author’s entire catalog of work.

Gain a profound understanding of the intricacies of the story, including character, setting, themes  and language and learn how authors weave their tapestry with each novel. Depending on the length of a given novel or an author's body of work, studies take place over a several weeks or months, and discussions are based on the Shared Inquiry technique.
