Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum and Hugo House are joining forces forces to help you conquer National Novel Writing Month! Together, we offer writing spaces, a vibrant community, and the motivation you need to hit your 50,000-word goal. Join fellow writers at Folio and Hugo House for structured writing sprints to keep your creative momentum strong all month long. 

NaNoWriMo, short for National Novel Writing Month, is an annual creative writing project where participants challenge themselves to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. Bring your draft and join us at Hugo House and Folio for timed writing sprints!

At the end of NaNoWriMo, take the stage at one (or both) of our Open Mic nights, in person at Folio on November 30, or tune in online with Hugo House on December 1, to read from your fresh draft!
