The Shape-Shifters: Tara Campbell, Ren Cedar Fuller, and G.G. Silverman

Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum is delighted to welcome local authors, G.G. Silverman (The Blood Year Daughter), Ren Cedar Fuller (Bigger), and Tara Campbell (All the Wayward Angels) for an exploration of all the ways we can morph and change. Through entirely different literary lenses and genres, the authors map the ways we shape-shift to carve out room for our own survival and agency. They act as a collective mirror, inviting audience members to consider the 'shapeshifter' they have had to become, and discuss how they've bent their environments, bodies, and realities to fit their true selves.

Tara Campbell is a writer, teacher, Kimbilio Fellow, and fiction co-editor at Barrelhouse. She teaches flash and speculative fiction, and is the author of two novels, two hybrid collections, and two short story collections.
