Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum is delighted to welcome renowned musician and audio-visual artist Natalie Twigg for a performance of The Sanctuary of Sound & The Gallery: Opening, a unique piano and vocal musical narrative experience.
Join us for an evening combining oboe improvisations from The Sanctuary of Sound, composed for quiet relaxation, and a selection from The Gallery, an Audio-Visual performance on a story of 12 paintings, music and narrative created by Natalie, the paintings realized in collaboration with American artist, Todd Alexander. The Gallery was premiered in August 2024 at the Theatreship in London’s Canary Wharf to great acclaim. Prepare to be enraptured by its concept and delivery.
