Lake Effect: Hillary Behrman in Conversation with Stephanie Reents

Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum is delighted to celebrate the release of Folio member and author Hillary Behrman's debut collection of short stories, and the winner of the 2024 Mary McCarthy Prize for Short Fiction, Lake Effect. Hillary will be in conversation with fellow author and Folio board member Stephanie Reents.

Wild places and hidden urban spaces exert a gravitational pull on the lives of the characters who populate the pages of Lake Effect.
