About the Event

This discussion group is reserved for Folio members, become a member and join us!

What does it mean to live a good life? This ongoing philosophy discussion group invites you to explore life lessons from history's greatest philosophers in an engaging, communal setting. February’s theme, by request, will look at philosophy and the heart/love/eros.  Our anchor text will be Jacob Needleman’s The Heart of Philosophy.

Rather than following a single text, the group collectively decides on primary topic for upcoming sessions, ensuring a dynamic curriculum that responds to the interests and curiosities of our members. The discussions are facilitated by Jason Frederick Lambacher, who is occasionally joined by a different club member to co-lead the conversation. Together we delve into the works of diverse thinkers, from the ancients to modern revolutionaries, to uncover practical and spiritual insights for navigating today's chaotic times and ethical dilemmas.

Jason Frederick Lambacher is a University Lecturer…
