About the Event

How do we live virtuously in a rapidly changing world?

Born out of Folio's Benjamin Franklin Virtues group, this discussion group seeks to examine and practice a selection of the 21st-century virtues often promoted, preached and sometimes practiced by modern thinkers, philosophers and economists. Join Folio members in a friendly and informal discussion and practice in the context of everyday life, facilitated by Folio member Caroline Sayre, a host of  local Ben Franklin Circles. 

The group meets monthly in person on second Thursday of each month, starting October 10. The discussion will beging with the following selection of virtues: 

  • Self Actualization & Authenticity
  • Sustainability
  • Transparency
  • Equity
  • Altruism
  • Disruption
  • Innovation 

Caroline Sayre holds a BA of Sociology, a MA of Urban Planning, and a MA in Teaching English as a Second Language; Fellow, certificate, Citizen University, a sometimes student of Spanish and a former co-host of a local Ben Franklin Circle as part of a national program created by the 92nd Street Y and Citizen University.
