Caroline Cumming

Executive Director

A native of Ireland, Caroline arrived in Seattle at the height of the dot com boom as a producer of online development and digital media technologies. After moving to the non-profit sector, she has served various Seattle arts organizations in administration, strategic planning, fundraising and programming. She joined Folio in 2016 as Business Manager before focusing on Development and Communications. With a strong background in Computer Applications and Communications, and a passion for media literacy, Caroline has developed and taught writing, filmmaking and media literacy programming for youth and adults. She also co-founded the Irish Reels Film Festival and produced MINOR DIFFERENCES, a documentary film that chronicles the 18 year journey of five former juvenile offenders.



Lillian Dabney

Library Manager

Lillian Dabney has been involved in every aspect of the book, from fierce reader, to book binder and is an advocate of all things literary. She has served on the board of the Washington Book Arts Guild and Friends of the Seattle Public Library. She received a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and worked at the Seattle Public Library as an on-call reference and readers services librarian.



Marilyn Hoe

Programming Coordinator

Marilyn Hoe has worked with various civic organizations over the past 20 years, including Town Hall and Crosscut.com. She orchestrates events, manages membership, and oversees programming at Folio.
