Folio has several rooms available to rent for many kinds of events. We can accommodate groups ranging from 8-200 people. Whether you're hosting a book club, meeting, conference, or reception, Folio is a fantastic option to make your event a memorable experience.
Folio has stacking chairs for large events, tables for food and display, and a kitchenette with a sink and refrigerator. Event organizers are free to choose their own licensed caterer or select a caterer from our list.
Folio also has the following equipment available for event rentals:
Baldwin baby grand piano- $100
Speakers with microphones and amplifier- $35
Large screen and projector- $35

Rooms and Rates
Charges include the use of the lobby space for access and for set up and display if needed. Time charge for these rooms is based on time in and time out. This includes any event and/or catering set up and clean up.
Evenings: 3 hour minimum. Weekends: 4 hour minimum.
Seattle Room (Main Reading Room)
Member rate- $100 per hour
Non-Member rate- $125 per hour
West Reading Room (Elliott Bay Room)
Member rate- $70 per hour
Non-Member rate- $90 per hour
Seattle & Elliott Reading Rooms Combined
Member rate- $160 per hour
Non-Member rate- $200 per hour
Entire Folio: Rent the entire Folio Library
Members– $240 per hour.
Non-Members– $300 per hour.
This room is for members only and is intended for small groups needing meeting space (up to 12 people), not for individual work space. Available hourly, with some exceptions based on availability. Room availability and signup sheet are kept at the front desk. If use extends beyond Folio library hours, check with front desk for charges.
Members– $20 per hour.
